Why do runners get injured?

At least 65-75% of runners experience an injury at some point in their training.  Most of these result from the repetitive nature of the sport and are overuse rather than traumatic in nature.

Common Injuries

The most common running injuries occur to the hip/back, knee, foot and ankle.
