Katie Schweitzer grew up in the Midwest area and completed BA General Science from Cedar Rapids Coe College. Katie completed Masters in Occupational Therapy from Touro University Nevada. She started her Hand therapy career in Las Vegas Nevada working for three orthopedic Board Certified Upper Extremity specialist before relocating to Washington State. I became an Occupational therapist to make a difference in the world and wanted to help people return to activities they love to do. Since then I am dedicated to learn advanced treatment options for hand injuries and continue to improve skills by attending lectures, seminars and conferences in addition to regular review of current peer reviewed articles. I enjoy outdoor activities with hiking in the mountains, running with friends and seeing movies at the theater. I enjoy traveling around the world to absorb as much culture and history as possible.
