Janet (Chen) Fowler

Why I am a Physical/Occupational Therapist: I've always known I wanted a career path that involved helping people. I though I could be the most helpful to my parents and family if I became a PT. From there the actual joy and desire of being a PT evolved for me. I consider myself very lucky to be doing what I enjoy.

Continuing Education Commitment: Learning never ends. I am drawn to classes that are based on functional biomechanics (of joints and of person) and neurologically sound in theory.

Personal Interests: Simplicity – being in the moment with my kids; holding hands with my husband; petting my dog and cat; having a good conversation; eating good food; traveling to new places; experiencing new things.

Educational Background: BS in Human Biology from EWU 1996, Masters of Physical Therapy from EWU 1998, Certified Manual Physical Therapist 2008, Vestibular Therapist Competency Certification 2012
