Why I am a Physical Therapist Assistant: I've never wanted a career sitting behind a desk. I knew I would excel in a career working one on one with people that would keep me engaged, learning and active. Choosing to become a PTA allows me to interact and make a difference in so many people's lives, which I find very rewarding. Each day provides me with a new challenge; an opportunity to learn and practice new skills.
Continuing education commitment: I am fortunate to work under a team of talented physical therapists who continually share their knowledge with me. The benefit of having their guidance as I work to improve my skills is invaluable. I understand the importance of continuing education and will make every effort to learn and grow throughout my career.
Personal interests: I love spending time with my family. I am blessed with a beautiful son and appreciate every moment I have watching him grow. The PNW is a beautiful place to live providing us with endless outdoor activities and adventures!
Educational background: I earned my Associate’s degree at Pima Medical Institute’s Physical Therapists Assistant program in Seattle, WA.
