Danielle Joyce

Why I am a Physical/Occupational Therapist:

I have always been involved in sports and first experienced PT as a patient.  I was drawn to the clinical atmosphere, one-on-one aspect of the profession, and intricate knowledge of the human body and musculoskeletal system.  I enjoy helping people across the spectrum by working with the patient to return to his or her daily routine, work, recreational activities, or competitive sports.

Continuing Education Commitment:

I am currently enrolled in a 2-year program for further education and credentialing in manual therapy. I have also taken a variety of additional continuing education classes including subjects covering running related injuries and treatment, soft tissue mobilization, and Kinesiotaping

Personal Interests: I have a passion for endurance sports.  Since college I have participated in numerous races up to full marathons and half-Ironman triathlons.  I am a three-time Boston Marathon qualifier and two time participant.
